Day1: Arrival and transfer to Akagera national park

After your arrival at Kanombe International Airport, you will be met by the company tour manager who will greet you with an extra ordinary welcome package demonstrating unique service provision in Africa then transferred to your Hotel,  check in then dinner and at  overnight Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 2: Game drive and a visit to hippo concentration

Before breakfast, have an early morning game drive in this park famous for being Rwanda’s  Savanna reserve and its herds of game animals like buffalos, elephants, zebras, lion, leopard and black rhinos giraffes  and various antelope which are all reasonably visible than in other game drives in Africa.
The activity will expose you to discover all great animals in wildlife and draw you close to then than never before. Return to the lodge for lunch and later visit the  highest concentrations of hippos not find anywhere in Africa, with  numerous large crocodiles and the bird species in Akagera  which are surprising in number  over 550 species which include all sorts of rarities and some big concentration of water birds. Dinner and overnight at Akagera game lodge.  

Day 3: A culture visit to various sites including genocide memorial

This day is devoted for sampling of Rwanda’s cultural theatres which makes you fall in love with A African cultural way of life. After a morning breakfast leave for Rwanda’s traditional King’s (Mwami’s) palace in Nyanza a place with complex houses like the morden and ruins of the ancient palace and get a chance to receive the traditional formal education by the African narrative professor from the palace then Proceed to Butare National Museum a place well known as a theatre of local art relax in gardens for lunch and later leave for Murambi genocide memorial in Gikongoro best known as massacre center during the genocide a place to see remains from the genocide, old dusty torn clothes of the massacred, room of 30 corpes lying on four wooden tables, room of twisted hands of young and old people who where tied together and massacred, bornes in the compound of dead people then dinner and overnight at ORTPN Guest House (FB).

Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe plus chimp tracking

Past breakfast depart for Nyungwe forest top known as the great chimp classic destination for Africa and a place where tourists are the first priority of the park. Chose the primate trail to search for the chimps before the first great activity of chimp tracking of over 500 primates.   Have a picnic lunch and proceed to ORTPN Guest House for dinner and overnight (FB).  

Day 5: Bird watching and leisure evening relaxation

Before breakfast visit the great bird kingdom at the albertine rift which is the best bird watching destination in the country with over 280 bird species recorded and the majorities are forest specialists and 26 are regional endemics whose range is restricted to a few forests along the Albertine Rift. Most people double when they first spot a great paradise flycatcher, along tailed blue, orange and sometimes white bird often seen around the rest house. Other birds strike with their strange look the huge habitually therefore receive fun from the natural paradise park with Rwanda amazing bird species. Have lunch at the lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure dinner and overnight at ORTPN Guest House (FB).

Day 6: Full day visit in Kibuye

After breakfast, set off to Cyangugu by a boat ride or road to Kibuye with picnic lunch and past arrival have optional swimming refreshment or a visit to the nearby Amahoro peace Island which has a picnic site, have lunch and later visit the genocide memorial church a holy place where 4000 people were killed inside who where trying to seek for God’s protection and mercy plus the Napoleon's hut with a unique colony of fruit bats then dinner and overnight at Kibuye guest house or Moriah Hill Resort.

Day 7: Optional relaxing activities

After breakfast drive to Gisenyi and Spend the all day relaxing at the beaches with a number of optional activities like boat rides to the Islands or a drive tour to Goma can be organised with enjoy full  cool winds of the beach environment .Dinner and overnight at Palm Beach hotel.  

Day 8: Transfer to Parc volcano National park for gorilla tracking

Early morning after breakfast set off to Ruhengeri for a meeting with the gorillas (gorilla tracking). Spot the pyrethrum plantations that covers the land with green colour and that will make your journey enjoyable after being followed by natural winds throughout the travel. On arrival at Ruhengeri go for a hike up in the bamboo  forest and spend perfect time having fun with gorillas in the forest then by following them, going closer and taking right positioned photos return to your lodge for lunch later have relaxed leisure evening dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest(FB).

Day 9: Gorilla tracking at Volcano Park

Once you done with breakfast go for second Gorilla tracking of another group since Rwanda is a blessed with a number of gorillas families and the activity is too tiresome but too exiting and it depends on where gorillas are and when looking for them there is devotion, dedication and commitment that makes one fall in like with the natural beauty.  Return to the lodge for lunch.  In the afternoon drive to Kigali arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Kigali in Serena Kigali hotel.

Day 10: departure back home

After breakfast have a city tour with lunch at Chez Robert in consideration with the flight check in time back home then later  transfer to the airport for home flight that marks the end of your tour.
