Day 1: Arrival and a visit to Nyamata genocide memorial

Picked from Kigali international airport by the company guide, then leave for a city tour to NyamataGenocideMemorial a place where over 5000 people were killed during the 1994 genocide expect to see the clothes piled on benches, the roof pockmarked with bullet holes, open crypts behind the church holding the remains of over 4000 people from the area. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla lodge/ kinigi guest house.

Day 2: Fantastic gorilla tracking

After breakfast, depart to Rwanda gorilla offices for gorilla tracking in Volcano national park “the only park with unique primates” get briefed by the ranger guide and set off for gorilla tracking a mavarious, enjoyable activity that will welcome you to Rwanda natural resources, spend some great time with the gorillas, and numerous wildlife like golden monkeys, Dian Fosseys tomb and many others. Return for lunch at Gorilla lodge. Afternoon, take a tour to the lake and see the exceptional caves around the lake and take remembrances photos with lots of fun poses near the caves then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: A 2-day Volcano climbing at Karisimbi

Early morning after breakfast, go for Volcano Climbing at Karisimbi which is a two day trek with overnight camping at an altitude of 3,800 m that is a very remarkable event that is done not at any place in Africa, return for dinner and overnight at Gorilla lodge.

Day 4: Final Volcano climbing at Bisoke

Depart for another Volcano Climbing at Bisoke volcano a one day activity and one is able to experience the difference in African Volcano altitudes then return for dinner and overnight at the Gorilla lodge.

Day 5; Departure back home after a satisfactory safari

After breakfast drive back to Kigali to catch up with the flight back home.
