Day 1: Arrive in Kigali
Upon your arrival at Kanombe international Airport in Kigali, you will be welcomed and greeted by our experienced safari guide who will transfer you to Kigali city for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Chez Lando/Okapi Hotel/Kigali Serena Hotel/Golf Hills Residence

Day 2: Kigali City tour and transfer to Ruhengeri
After breakfast at your Hotel in Kigali, you will be transferred for a full day City tour with in Kigali. The tour will enable you visit places like the Genocide Memorial sites of Gisozi and Murambi, The reconciliation village in Bugesera, local markets, Handcraft shops and so on. Have lunch and after transfer to Ruhengeri town. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House/Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Parc Nationale Des Volcanoes
Early morning you will have breakfast at the Lodge and then later be transferred to the Park Headquarters of Parc National des Volcans.  You will meet your ranger guides here who will briefly guide you on how to behave while in the forest searching for the Gorillas and also will let you know more about their behaviours and ways of life before you set off. After the briefing you will enter into the forest and search for these endangered rare mountain Gorilla species. This is a once a life adventure and an opportunity one should never miss in life. Some time the Terrain is rough and muddy and this means that you as gorilla trekkers, you have to be strong enough and also physically fit. The activity will take like 4 to 6 hours and therefore you are advised to go with your packed lunch. Return back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House/Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge

Day 4: Golden monkey tracking and transfer to Gisenyi
After breakfast at the Lodge, you will go for Golden Monkey tracking with in the Volcanoes National Park. These Golden Monkeys are the most endangered primates with in the forest. This activity will not take long like as it is when tracking the Gorillas. You will spend also less time with these primates. Return to your lodge for lunch after which you will transfer to Gisenyi town on the Northern shores of Lake Kivu. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel

Day 5: Boat ride on Lake Kivu and transfer to Kibuye
After breakfast, you will take a short boat ride on Lake Kivu and visit the different fishing villages. Return for a pleasant and fasnating lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to the nearby town of Kibuye. En route, visit the tea plantations and later proceed with your journey to the town. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in Kibuye

Day 6: Transfer to Nyungwe forest National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Upon arrival, have lunch and after go for a forest walk with in the forest to search for primate species like the Angolan Colobus monkeys, as well as the handsome L’hoest monkeys. Retire in the evenning for dinner and overnight at Gisakura Guest House/Nyungwe Forest Lodge

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest and transfer to Butare
Breakfast will be served early morning and after you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing at 6:00am. Unlike other countries like Uganda where chimpanzee tracking activity starts at 8:00am, here in Nyungwe forest National Park the activity starts at 6:00am. You will enter into the forest when its dark but you will be able to see primate species such as Colobus monkeys, forest birds and later, you will be able to see the chimpanzees when its laready day time. Return to your lodge after the tracking for Lunch and in the afternoon, you will transfer to Butare town to get entertainmrnt from the Intore dancers. Dinner and overnight in Butare

Day 8: Visit the National Museum and transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, you will visit the Rwanda National Museum, The King’s palace in Nyanza, the Basilica of Kabgayi and the local markets. Later, drive back to Kigali for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Chez Lando/Okapi Hotel/Kigali Serena Hotel/Golf Hills Residence

Day 9: Transfer to Akagera National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Hotel in Kigali and be transferred to Akagera National Park in the East of Rwanda bodering Tanzania. Upon arrival, you will go for the afternoon boat ride on Lake Ihema where you will encounter large herds of hippos, crocodiles and a lot of birdspecies along the lake shores. Dinner and overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge

Day 10: Game drive and transfer back to Kigali
You will have an early morning breakfast and set out for the game drive in the park.  This will give you sights of animals like Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, hynas and so on. later depart for Kigali for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Chez Lando/Okapi Hotel/Kigali Serena Hotel/Golf Hills Residence

Day 11: Full day resting or tour on your own
You will have the whole of this day for your own tour with in the town. You will not be accompanied by any guide.

Day 12: Departure
You will be transferred to the Airport to the airport for your departure flight back home.
