Go gorilla tracking in Volcanoes national park on this 3 Days gorilla trip. Meet the mountain gorillas eye to eye in the jungles of Rwanda. The trip starts with a meet and greet service at the Kigali Airport. Take a brief tour of Kigali City on which you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial site and other sites. After the tour, transfer to Ruhengeri in Northern Rwanda and have an overnight in Volcanoes National Park, the wonderful home to mountain gorillas.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 –Meet & Greet at the Airport.

Meet and greet at Kigali Airport by our tour guide. Take a brief city tour of Kigali City starting with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial site.
After the brief tour, transfer to Ruhengeri, the fourth largest town in Rwanda, with its stunning backdrop of three volcanic mountains.  Overnight:Hotel Gorillas /

Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

The days starts with an early breakfast at the lodge. Our guide will drive you to Kinigi, home to Volcanoes National Park Offices, where you are to get briefed about gorilla tracking before commencing the trek into the jungles. Gorilla tracking in PNV is a once in a life time experience and you should be ready for it.

After getting assigned to a particular group, start off your trek, guided by local tour guides and rangers. The time for the trek is unpredictable. Experience shows that the trip takes from a mere hike of 1 hour to a full day hike within the forest. upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you have up to one hour to watch them in the wild. After the trek, return to the lodge. If time allows take a local community tour in the evening.  Overnight: Hotel Gorillas

Day 3 – Return to Kigali

After breakfast, embark on your return trip back to Kigali. If you missed a city tour at the start of the trip enjoy a city tour of Kigali, one of the friendliest African capitals. Our guide will drop you at a hotel, specified address or at the airport for your return flight.
