Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Airport Transfer

Meet and greet at Kigali Airport by our tour guide. Take a brief tour of Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. On the tour visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial site, local markets, arts and museums. After the tour,  embark on your drive to Ruhengeri, the fourth largest town in Rwanda. Located in Northern Rwanda, the the town is characterised with a stunning backdrop of three volcanic mountains. Overnight :Hotel

Day 2 – Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Start off your day with an early start to Kinigi. Assemble at the Volcanoes National Park Offices where you are to get briefed before commencing the once in a lifetime experience of tracking mountain gorillas. The local guides will assign you to the particular group to be visited. Ready with a walking stick, start your hike into the forest and search for the endangered mountain gorillas. A trek before meeting the gorillas ranges from 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the location where the gorillas last spent the night. upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you have up to one hour to watch the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge. Overnight:Hotel Gorillas.

Day 3 – Take a 2nd Trek to the Gorillas in PNV

Early in the morning, our guide will transfer you to Kinigi for another trek to the  gorillas. Enjoy your second gorilla trek. After the trek, you can take a local community tour / hike to Dian Fossey’s Grave.
Overnight at Hotel Gorillas

Day 4 – Return to Kigali

After breakfast, return to Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. If you missed a Kigali City tour on the first day, go for a brief tour of this amazing city. Get some time for some last minute shopping in Kigali before returning to the airport for your flight back home. Our guide can as well drop you at a specified address or at your preffered hotel in Kigali.
