TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Kigali
Kigali City Tour – Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Rwanda’s Parliamentary Building, Caplaki, & Ntarama Genocide Memorial. After lunch Transfer to Volcanoes National Park located in Musanze District in Northern Rwanda. Overnight at the Muhabura Hotel

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After Breakfast, our guide will drive you to the park headquarters for briefing about the activity of the day; gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes National Park. After getting assigned to a gorilla group go for gorilla tracking in the park. The hike can take time from just 30 minutes to a full day hike in the Volcanoes National Park depending on the location where the gorillas spend their day. In the afternoon, Visit the Twin Lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo – beautiful and scenic places to visit.

Day 3: Golden Monkeys / Bisoke Hike / Dian Fossey Hike
There are several things you can do on this day. Go for Golden Monkey Tracking in the Volcanoes National Park. In the evening visit the Iby’wachu Village a local community initiative established to showcase the lifestyle and culture of the Rwandan People.
OR Go for a Bisoke Volcano Hike (Full Day Hike) /
OR Hike to Karisoke Research Center and pay tribute to the works of Dian fossey. You will also visit the Dian Fossey Grave and also learn about gorilla conservation in Africa.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast Transfer to Lake Kivu. You will make several stops on your way to Lake Kivu.

Day 5: Boat Ride & Tour to Nearby Attractions
Explore the Islands in Lake Kivu. On a boat ride you will visit fishing villages to see how the locals live. In the evening enjoy relax at the Lake Kivu shores.

Day 6: Return to Kigali
Have a late breakfast and embark on a return trip to Kigali
