Mgahinga is one of the most scenic places in Eastern Africa. This 33sq km park is located in the Virunga hosting 3 volcanoes; Gahinga, Muhavura and Sabinyo.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali – Mgahinga National Park (4 Hours)
You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel by our company guide. If you arrive in the morning hours – take a Kigali city tour including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial site located within Kigali city, built in commemoration of the Rwandan genocide in 1994, Presidential Palace and Caplaki. After a brief Kigali Tour, embark on your journey to Mgahinga National Park located in the south western part of Uganda. Traveling via Volcanoes National Park in Northern Rwanda, enter Uganda via the Cyanika Border. Arrive in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Kisoro Tourist Hotel / Travellers Rest Hotel
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park
Wake up early in the morning, and get prepared for the most thrilling activity of gorilla tracking within Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Our guide will drive you to the ranger station before 8:00am with your lunch box and all the required gear! After getting briefed, the guides will lead you to track the mountain gorillas, possibly one of the most exhilarating wildlife experiences on earth. After the trek, embark on a return trip to Kigali with a drop off at the airport or a hotel in Kigali.
